Since 2016, Spanish Community Center has hosted a Children's Day event in celebration of Día del Niño. Every year we are thrilled to see our community partners and give the community a wonderful event for FREE! We were joined this year by a variety of community organizations that provided local resources, brochures, and gifts! Entertainment included a magic show, face painting, balloons, games, and raffle prizes.
El Día del Niño, Children's Day, is a holiday celebrated by Mexico and other Latin American Countries to celebrate children and childhood. It was first celebrated in Mexico in 1925 and has continued to be a tradition for many communities.
